Outstanding Early Strength
Within 24 hours, the strength can reach 3 times that of ordinary Portland cement (50-60 MPa), suitable for emergency repairs (e.g., 72-hour repair of airport runways).
Note: After 28 days, due to the phase transformation of CA→CA₂, porosity increases, leading to a 20-30% decrease in strength, which needs to be controlled with mineral admixtures (15% silica fume).
High-Temperature Performance
Refractoriness reaches 1580℃ (when Al₂O₅ ≥ 50%), with a high-temperature residual strength retention rate of over 80% (tested at 1000℃).
The hydration product CAH₁₀ dehydrates at 300℃ and reconstitutes into a dense ceramic structure.
Chemical Resistance
Sulfate resistance coefficient K > 1.0 (ASTM C1012 standard), due to the absence of free Ca(OH)₂ formation.
In acidic environments (pH = 3-11), the Al(OH)₃ gel layer provides dynamic protection.
